Narrative Photo Shoots:
Jason Lee Parry:
Getaway

In my search for narrative photography i found a very cool site that had a list of very good narrative fashion photography collections. The site
thecoolist had several photographers that i was found of like the p hotograph above from Jason Lee Parry's narrative collection titled
"The Getaway" these images invoke the feeling of being on the run. The image below is a really good example of being on the run they are in the car flying down the road, and the tit le of the collection is kinda a give away to the sense of r unning away or "getting away"

i really recommend checking out some of Jason Lee Parry's work at his
site.
Greg Will iams :
Scandal

Greg Williams a famous fashion photographers and one of my favorite photographers did a narrative shoot with Olga Kurylenko, about a woman f rom the 60's involved in a political
"scandal". William's does a great ob with this shoot the story is really laid out and easy to follow. the image show that she is in public attention but at the same time you f eel as if she is alone a lot of the pictures it's just her in the image and when there are other people in the image they are not close to her.

this specific image above is my favorite image out of the set because it really ties everything together you can assume that the man with the newspaper is the husband of the woman who committed the scandal and he is confronting her about it. this set of images are just some of Greg William's work, check out his site to
see more.
Some other artist i wanna mentions is
Steven Meisel for his
"Make Love, Not War" collection is a fantastic narrative collection. also i would like to mention
Steven Klein for his collection of Brad Pit and Angelina Jolie called
"Domestic Bliss" which is a narrative about family life, but it has almost of vintage feel to it.
These works will highly influence my work for the narrative assignment. It will be hard to do but i'm going to think of something good to do. I will need to take out a new camera because my in camera light meter on my horrible Nikon D40x is broken, so i am hoping i will only have to check out a new camera once and get this shoot done is one day. i will have to carefully plan everything out.
